Summery

Here's how the summer holidays are shaping up in our wee corner of this world

Exercising Joss at the river and finding varying decent and some not so awesome dog parks all over town.

Entertaining little girls who love to bake

 waiting patiently for these

Mine had red currants from our garden

While I waited for the bread maker to do it's magic with our brownies I had a sudden urge to quickly whip out the paints. Yeah it's a giant grey pear and I can't show you the actual finished work because I blatantly copied it off a print I saw off pinterest that I liked and I don't want hate mail. thanks, I'm not going to sell it or even show it on here as mine so that's ok, right? eek

Baking day round 2.
Cute as pinny from Tea's etsy shop Loveknot. I brought a couple a while back to save as gifts and the girls absolutely LOVE them!

Strawberry heart cupcakes were on the menu this day

My Christmas lilies died and the tree and decos were packed up and put back in the garage roof

We picnicked in the New Year with good friends

We splashed out and went to the movies as a whole family on Goosemans last day before starting back work. The movie theatre was practically empty that day and I'm guessing here's why

just a small example of the adrenalin that pumps through our veins even while we sleep.

The all day breakfast after a night like that

making funny hairstyles in the bath

move over Kate Moss.

Looks like a lovely summer making memories of childhood. Lovely to see so much fun and time together. The quakes dont get easier, but we managed to sit in the movies in a large one and no one moved... how times change.
Gorgeous kids :)

Hi Widge,
I think I'm a first time commenter. Can't believe it's taken me so long! Loved your summer pics. I saw the muppets too and it brought back so many childhood memories. Looks like you are surviving the holidays pretty well.
