memories are made from the simple stuff

What to do when the kids are going stir crazy at home.

Pile them into the car, despite the howls of protest coming at you from all directions.

Throw Gooseman the keys,

Drive off down the road as the rest of the neighbourhood let out a collective sigh...

a moments peace from the loudest family in the world.

Less than a minute from our home is the Ashley River.

Now that the Pup has completed all of his vaccinations we were able to take him with us.

I think it was pretty much the highlight of his life so far

Warning instagram pic haters. This post has an overload. Why carry my HUGE camera on a peaceful family outing {no really, surprisingly once we got there is was} when I can just pop my phone in my pocket.
So there.

The girls and I spent most of the time picking weeds wild daisies.

Stopping off at the dairy on the way back home for an ice cream. And that was all that was needed to blow some of the cobwebs away and change everyone's moods. Simple. Cheap. Way more memorable than a trip to the mall.

And this wee guy grossed us all out blowing off all the way home! My car smells awesome.

Lol...loudest family in the world. Bet my brood could give you a run for your money. I blame it on being raised in the country where there are no noise limits, well until 2 years ago when I moved to surburbia. Shock to the system. I find myself saying Shhhh so often it's amazing my kids bother talking to me about anything really, poor loves.....

Ha! Your car smelt like that way before you got Joss.....
(only a friend could say that. and I'm mostly joking.) lol

Loved the weeds.... I mean wild daisies.
Looks like it was a fun day....

I may pop over on wed night if you are home as I have a shoot at Lamb and Hayward.
Yip. I do it all.

Hmmm I need a phone that is capable of taking pictures that I could even think of blogging. As for Pup and his smell, maybe that's his way of saying thanks for the great afternoon.
