a movie phrase we use all the time at our place that no one else gets. mystery revealed

 So INSANELY tired.

yip.

Yesterday was my first morning getting the kids off to school {alone I might add, Goose starts work at 6am} and then heading to work for 8 hours, looking presentable too.

We did it.

I even got to 3 out of 4 classrooms before the final bell rang and dropped Neb at entire different school for the day while he does Technology education {Home ec or Manual when I was a kid}. There was no puppy explosions on the carpet this morning hooray!

No shouting even.

I was up at the crack of dawn, if I actually slept anyway, I'd been so restless about it. Time and Mornings and Me don't mix well.

"Snap cups for me" I'd say

Snap Cup Scene from Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde Movie (2003) | MOVIECLIPS

Thank you God for takeaway pizza. Dinner sorted. Plates and utensils un needed.

The bitter-sweet results of Belle's hard work this year jumping through her reading levels left me trying really hard to stay awake listening to her read a very long book on the life of ducklings at the SPCA {I think} at a grand speed of around 1.3 km per hour......Homework has NEVER been my strong suit.

We'll get there. Can't wait to see my butt and chins shrink in the next couple of months because I'm not perched on this computer chair everyday any more...as long as we don't make the pizza a regular thing hey?

well done. My movies phrase is 'Why am I not surprised? I think I'm going to die from not surprised' from the Alladin movie with Robin Williams in it

Good on you... and loving those phrases that we get between us and no one else does.

Haha, that is awesome :D Our teen is forever cracking us up with the way she throws out movie quotes to fit every day life situations. She can watch a movie once and still be able to quote lines from it three years later. (Wish she had such a great memory for school work...)

Good luck with the kids and the school stuff! You'll be able to juggle it no sweat :)

Brilliant & yeh totally with you on the homework/time early mornings/takeaways = no cleaning up things. Thought I was the only one.... :)

Weirdly "snap cups" could be heaps of use in our home too some days despite the fact that it is only me & Magpie in the mornings....!

Well done super mum...I felt like I needed match sticks to hold my eyes open when school mish was upon me Tues morning! Lol at the homework! Alex just started at intermediate this week, I've moved them all to town shcools which kinda makes sense as it's right over our back fence!...anyway..Alex...one of the reasons I moved him (there were many but I'm kinda embarresed to admit this one) was that he was up till 10pm most nights doing homework! He's 11 so he still needs help from one of us! Is this just me or was that a MENTAL amount of homework for an 11 year old??
