I've been told numerous times throughout my life that when I talk, I talk about a lot of crap, for lack of a better word, but that which sums up what the person (s) each time was meaning.
It's something that has stuck with me. I can recall almost every incident of who, when and where it has been said. Usually a passing comment from someone lurking in the background as I've nattered away to a friend on the phone (before I got all techno and then became phone phobic I used to talk ALOT on the phone).
I can understand what they mean, cos I guess I do, talk about crap. Take this blog for example, as it was said to me yesterday, it's about nothing. and it totally is.
What do non crap talkers talk about?
What do interesting bloggers blog about?
Pondering....
Interesting that someone who professes to want to write and communicate has been told this over and over again! hmmmm
Is there a reoccurring sentence in your existence that stings a little, unintentionally, each time? or am I over sensitive?

If it's "crap" you're talking about, then I guess it must be pretty spot-on "crap" because I love reading it and your friends obviously love listening to it. Perhaps one person's crap is another's GOLD!

Well take heart - the show Seinfeld was about 'nothing' and look how successful they were! I think it is refreshing when people blog about everyday life, nothing too structured... you have great perspective, I love reading what you have to say.
